Final frontier.

I recently had my tonsils removed and was left with two bleeding holes in my throat. Good thing was that I got a lot of exquisitly fine drugs and the opportunity to lay in bed with my laptop and paint in photoshop at the same time. The result is the first painting. The rest of the work I did I will post when I'm able to see what it's supposed to be.

I was contacted by a company and asked to do a concept for a creepy crow with a strange angle to it for some kind of live action thing.
Later I got informed they had found a work around and did not need the drawings.

I decided to do an idea for it that had been lurking around in the back of my mind in my own time.

I am trying a new way of working, where I do not work so much from an outline as I am use to,

but more with colours and shadows. A more concept artsy way, I guess.I am also getting some mentoring from a friend called Anders Bierberg who helped me out with this one and also helped me with some new brushes. Scheers for that!.

Here is some beatboards I did for my friends 2D semi erotic short film (sorry no nudity/flesh in this post). Hopefully it will see the light of day and go into full production at one point.

2 designs I did for some 3D fun!.

Here is two quick designs I did for one of my friends who wants to do some 3D modelling. Hopefully I get to do a nice walk circle or some crazy animation when he is done. The first one remids me of a mix between Clint Eastwood and Roland from Stephen Kings "The Dark Tower books" if any one can relate to that. :)

I got insperid to do some speed painting by two of my compadres so here is what came out of it.

It took me about one hour and it was really fun. I can definately see myself doing this again.

So here is a blend of cool things that I really like. I also wanted to add a guitar on one of the girls backs but it was getting a little crowded back there.

I was looking at some of Frazettas art work and I decided to do my own version of Conan.
I thought it could be funny with some kind of corny german comic front page.
I am not even sure if the titel is in correct German.

I went to Sweden (Skåne) to visit some family, and they brought me to a place deep in the forrest, where people, back in the old days, used to go and get rid of their elders by pushing them over a big rock when they could no longer contribute to the community.

This gave me the inspriration for this painting.
